Snow Owl, balancing difficulty

Yesterday a Snow Owl was examined due to abnormal behavior and decreased balancing ability. The owl was anaesthetized and radiographs, blood, and fecal sample were taken. No clear abnormal findings were found, only possible renal or hepatic alterations. The tendency to stand unsteadily has been visible for over 2 months, so any imbalance due to poor feather confirmation would have been compensated by now. Blood results are pending. The owl took longer than normal to wake up from anesthesia.
