Snow leopard: visual examination

The snow leopard was observed as a follow up, as it had urinated either on itself or lied in its own urine. The old cat has been treated for cystitis and improvement had taken place according to the keeper. There was some dirty fur still on its hindquarters, so medicating it with meloxicam will be attempted. The geriatric cat may just need some pain relief to move more. A third possibility will be to medicate it to increase the tone of the inner urethral sphincter.
